Christ Gospel Apostolic Church Worldwide was founded by Prophet Peter Akinloye Olatunji, who was a native of Ibadan. He was born at the beginning month of February 1990, in the household of Oyedeji Oje Ojagbo, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Prophet Peter Akinloye Olatinji was a successful farmer and heathen by religion before accepting Jesus Christ. He was a member of C.M.S in 1929 – 1930, he became a member of Faith Tabernacle Church now The Apostolic Church. The servant of God moved from Oyedeji in Igbo-Elerin to a neighbourhood called Beyerunka. God used his servant for diverse works; dead were raised to life, blind received their sight, people with infirmities were restored. In 1935, Prophet Peter Olatunji got married to Mrs. Fadere Olatunji who died in 1936, was a great loss and tragedy for the both families of the couple. Prophet Olatunji commenced his first missionary journey in 1939 from Igba-Elerin to Araromi, Ago-Owu, Oye, Modakeke, Ile-Ife, Okitipupa and environs. He got married to another wife and birth three children for him, only one surviving child of Late Prophet Akinloye Olatunji his daughter Oluwafumilayo Olatunji while the other two sons were deceased. In 1947, GHod revealed to Prophet Peter Akinloye Olatunji that he will go and plant a church in Oke-Foko, while in Oke-Ogun. He returned, and told the C.Ac authorities about the revelation and they accepted with joy and gave him the necessary backing. Signs and wonders took place where he went to. In 1948 a land was purchased by the C.A.C authorities and Prophet Peter Akinloye. The length of the property was 200 feet by 200 feet; foundation of the church was laid by Prophet Peter Olatunji on 25th March 1948, unfortunately, the building collapsed. The church was rebuilt and the First anniversary of the church was celebrated there on 7th November, 1948. There was a controversy between the C.A.C Authorities and Prophet Peter Akinloye about “Who was greater between the Prophet and the Pastor? The problem became so protracted and intractable to the extent that the C.A.C Supreme Council at that time was not able to resolve it. These lead to the separation between C.A.C Authorities and Prophet Peter Akinloye Olatunji; they had to part ways. After one year Prophet Peter Akinloye Olatunji declared that time the name of this church would be Gospel Apostolic Church 1949. The name was later changed to Christ Gospel Apostolic Church through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit on 9th August, 1963 till today. Prophet Peter Akinloye Olatunji slept in the Lord on Sunday 23rd May 1954

Meet Our Apostle/Vice-Chairman
In July 1958, a son was into the family of late Pa Emmanuel Ojo Ibosiola and Late Racheal Omitomiye Ibosiola of Erio, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He was raised in a Christian home with strong Christian beliefs.
However, his thirst for God’s Work, which is to know more about Christ led him to Baba Odunoso’s prayer mountain at Oke-igbala in Ibadan where divine fate brought him in contact with Olabode’s family. Pastor Ibosiola was at that time serving as an Evangelist in the African Apostolic Church under Prophetess Deborah Oluwanifise – Iya Damilare at Ogefila in Odinjo Area, Ibadan. Pastor/Evangelist M.O Olabode who is presently the Deputy General Superintendent of Christ Gospel Apostolic Church later invited him to Christ Gospel Apostolic Church (C.G.A.C) Odinjo 1 for a revival where he was prompted by the Holy Spirit ton start attending Christ Gospel Apostolic Church.
He is a very devoted minister of the gospel who has passion for the word of God and soul winning. As an Evangelist, he is very much involved in both radio and television evangelism to propagate the gospel of Christ. He is also an author who has written many Christian books. His passion for Jesus and spiritual fire urge him on a soldier of Christ and he continues to teach God’s word of faith with commitment and conviction.
He is happily married to a wonderful wife – Lady/Evang. Foluke Elizabeth Ibosiola and blessed with children.
